I love these refills, and this pricing is outstanding. However, I made a mistake – when I placed my order for violet/purple refills, and got my order the first time, I saw the red packaging and assumed they sent the wrong item, and ordered a replacement. What I SHOULD have done was open one of the refill packages and give it a try, because I would have quickly realized these are EXACTLY what I ordered, just in different packaging than I expected. They are labeled “violet” correctly as well. My violet/purple refills came in red packaging, but the inside is correct and is the violet/purple – so try your pen refills, first! I ended up paying for my replacement (my fault!! Not the shipper’s or amazon’s!) so I ended up with lots of nice purple ink. I highly recommend these refills, they are an awesome value and fit my Pentel Energel alloy pens nicely. Less plastic is a great thing, and I’m happy to be using my metal barrel pens and using these refills; not a perfect solution as the refills are plastic, but it’s less than using a plastic pen barrel and compounding it….

These pen refills arrived as pictured and the cartridges are in individual, clear wrappers. I’ve only used one, but it works great and fits in the pen just fine. That said, the color is so confusing! On the box, the swatch of color looks pinkish-purple but it is not! The color *name* on the box, “Lilac,” is correct. Identifying the color names is confusing.I ordered the wrong color first, so I hope this helps someone else avoid my mistake. In Energel pens, Violet is a light, pinkish purple, like the three-pack in my attached photo. The Lilac is a blueish purple, the single pen in the photo. Energel pens are gorgeous color! When ordering in the future, I plan to rely on the *name* and not what the picture looks like. Also, there is a light green, called spring green, that I don’t care for as much as the regular ‘green.’ The Energel packaging does not always list the names of the colors on the package. Overall, though, I’m glad to have this problem with so many beautiful colors, they glide on the paper.

I absolutely love this brand of pens. I use them so much, I wanted to try refills. They are long lasting and the colors stand out. Easy to refill once you make a separate purchase of this brand of pen that is more so metal. 10/10, I will continue to purchase.

This is my absolute favorite pen, I prefer extra fine point and they are very difficult to find in regular brick and mortar stores. This is a great economical option.

Decided to try these instead of keep buying pens and they actually seem to last longer and I use my pen everyday at work. Have to use blue ink at work so it’s hard to find a nice pen with blue ink.

These pen refills are easy to use – they just screw in. The writing experience is very good. It is nice to not have to throw a whole pen away. I’ve been using them for many years.

Note that they are in fact a tiny bit shorter than the Pilot G2 refills. Plus the needle point on these is a bit smaller than the ballpoint on the G2 refills. That means that you can’t easily put this refills into a pen that takes the G2 refills without doing some mild modifications. There’s enough space in the back to lop off some excess plastic to get it to fit into pens that take the Parker type refills, but that’s only if the pen body is thick enough for it.I like that these write just as smooth as the Coleto 0.3mm pens, except they hold tons more ink and last way longer. I only wish there were more options for pen bodies. The packaging arrived a little squished, but otherwise all of the refills are intact and the couple I’ve used so far work just fine.
