Remarkable how a new set of muffs turns my ratty old headphones to feeling like new. While when you get inside your headphones it may need a little cleaning and fanangling, installing the cushions themselves is surprisingly simple. It’s tricky to figure out at first, and I recommend handling the cushions with care, but once you figure out the trick of fastening the cushions under the clasp-hooks, it’s easy and I did it just with my hands. I didn’t end up needing the blue tool they include with it for installing the cushions, but in hindsight, I’d use it for greater care as it would allow you to manipulate the plastic ring (which the cushions are attached to) directly. But the tool, paired with the provided cleaning wipe, did a good job at cleaning and scraping some of the adhesive gunk out of the inside of the headphone. If the cushions in my headphones need replacing again in two years, I would buy this product again.

I’ve bought this twice, 6mths ago for a Bose AE2 (corded), and recently for a pair of Bose QC35 (bluetooth/noise cancelling). The pads & mesh on Bose headphones are easy to remove (no tool required). You just pull them off slowly. The new mesh is a simple, peal-and-place sticker application. I like how they provided replacement for these too – it makes then headphones look like new.The new pads are relatively simple to install. You place them in the unit, and then with the provided tool, rotate/push the gasket under each of the tabs in the headphones. If you take your time, it is a simple operation that takes <5min.The replaced pads on the AE2 headphones have been used for 100+ hours now via PC and airplane use, and are showing no wear-and-tear yet. I expect them to last 5-10yrs - like the originals. The replaced pads on the QC35 headphones have been used for <1 hour so far. They feel (relatively) the same as the originals. They are stiffer - but that's compared to the worn out pads. I think they feel the same as to when the headphones were bought. In general - a good production - especially when on sale for $9.99.

I originally ordered these in 2020 and am now reordering nearly 9 months into 2023. I got these as a replacement to my original ear pads from when I got my QC 35’s in 2016/17. They got really scuffed and worn and this replacement pair, so far, has almost none of that after 3 years. Granted I did split my time between these, Sony XM4, and AirPods Pro. They’re still in great shape. I am only reordering because today my pad busted when I was cleaning them. I’ve cleaned them many times before this. They still feel really soft, clean, and comfortable. Far more comfortable than my (much newer) Sony XM4. That’s why I reach for these over those despite the Sony’s sounding better. For $9.99 you can’t beat the feel and quality. It’s definitely worth it.Photos are of my 3 year old replacement set of ear pads.

I have a pair of Bose comforts and used the crud out of them so had a lot of wear and tear of the fake leather. I had been waiting to buy the bran name pair but instead got these because of the price…. So…. ???? I could find no single difference in these versus the one’s Bose is selling for almost $40. The only difference I found was just the back lining where they press against the device, however, I realized that was because the old pair had been on there so long and it was an imprint. I highly recommend these if you need to replace yours and don’t want to spend double the money on the exact same thing but from Bose’s warehouses.

I bought two sets of these for two different pairs of headphones that were both falling apart. 3/4 of the pads were super easy to install. On the 4th I couldn’t for the life of me get it to clip in, it felt like the size was just slightly off? I did eventually get it to clip into most of the clips, so hopefully that’s good enough to keep it in place. Also, the black on black makes it pretty difficult to read the R/L in real life.Overall, though, it seems like a good product that does what it’s supposed to do.

I am taking down a star because there are no instructions on how to install these or what the tool in the box is for.I purchased these for my Bose headphones since the original pads were coming apart. The ear cups are not the easiest thing to replace properly. These also came with no instructions, nor a link or anything to more information. I did some googling and found the process to replace them. They seem to be as good, currently new out of the box, from a padding perspective as the originals. I would actually say they have a bit more padding, but since they are brand new and the ones I am taking off are 8 years old LOLHopefully the ear cups will last even half that long and stay nice and cushy and by then I will have replaced them.

I was this ???????? close to buying a brand new pair (Bose Quiet Comfort 35 ????) even though they still work perfectly because the way they looked bothered me so much. This was a quick and simple (and far more affordable) remedy. I pulled the old covers off and replaced with these new ones in less than 5 minutes and now it really is like I bought a brand new pair. Perfect fit and no change to the sound quality or comfort. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. ????????

Installed in 5 minutes. The yellow sticker tabs on the ear covers have a small slit in them you can use to peel away the top layer. Use the blue tool to push the edges of the ear pads under the small plastic hooks. Peek behind the cushion and check that all 10 hook are on the edge and boom you are done.

I am happy For the fourth time, I did not replaced my headphones, I am very happy to be able to replace the cushions over time. This time was very smooth, the little tool make the process so much easier. In my opinion it is better than the real deal for Bose that cost way more. Thank you!

Quick easy fix to torn Bose Ear Pads The Bose Ear Cushions Kit is a game-changer regarding comfort, ease of installation, and sound enhancement. These ear pads are the epitome of top-tier craftsmanship, with keen attention to detail that ensures an exact fit for Bose Quiet Comfort (Over-Ear) headphones series. These pads work like your soundproof room, isolating all the music goodness in a cocoon of audio delight. Your eardrums can now party in peace, even amidst the chaos of the outside world. And the best part? You won’t need to crank up the volume to ‘over-the-top’ levels, saving your ears from early retirement.I honestly believe these ear pads are what Bose originally intended when they designed the headphones, but thanks to cost-cutting, they chose the cheaper ear pads. Fortunately, these ear pads are available now from a third party, and their excellent reviews suggest that most people only have to replace them every three years. Given the cost, it is worth it.
