I bought them for someone else after their cheaper one broke and installing them was easy, the adhesive didn’t rip apart paint like the last one. I hadn’t known about the app, which was amazing to say the least. The customizing options are genuinely infinite, it feels like. Honestly the price is absolutely fair for what you get. The app and segment controls alone make it worth even more. Only downside was an error on my part where I had made a small tear in the strip when trying to fold it around a corner. It worked just fine after a piece electrical tape, but dummies like me could use a stronger strip in general. I was able to cover each corner of the room, though, and they were nice and bright to boot. I’m very impressed and I kind of want to get another one for myself.

When I checked over them the first time I must have missed this. There are 6 red leds broken in a row and I just got them yesterday. I already put them up so I won’t bother ripping the paint off my walls but it’s an inconvenience. Overall good quality and sticky. One thing I realize is that there is not remote. Not a problem for me but could be for someone else.Other than that very bright, perfect size, and weird to put up because it doesn’t seperate at the connection.

Todo muy bien, como eran 2 carretes de 15 metros cada uno, decidí cortarlas desde la base del control, y ponerles unaestencion de cable para colocarlas en otro lugar y no desperdiciar los 15 metros extra en la misma zona, pero al momento deconectar con la soldadura las luces rítmicas funcionan normalmente pero cuando hay silencio parpadean, no recuerdo si así eran desde antes de cortarlas o si ese fallo se debió a que las separe.Así que pues les recomiendo que no las corten y compren la medida que van a ocupar xD, lo único bueno fue que las compre en oferta en $1700

At first I let out the longest strip of expletives. I got them all hung up, and ready to go and began to download the app. While it was downloading and installing I plugged it on.. and I lost it. Alot of them were not lighting up st all or very weak and flashing random colors. But I thought “let’s see what happens when I try the app.”I connected the app to the strips and it immediately came to life. The app has so much customizations, an hour later I was still playing with them and laughing. A few seem like itay be problematic for someone with epilepsy but it’s amazing.1 problem. I washed the wall, made sure it was dry and there was about a 2 or 3 foot section I had to use some clear packing tape to keep that section on the wall. Out of 100 ft, a couple feet not sticking well isn’t a big deal. You can’t even see the tape when it’s on anyway.I’d give it a 4.9 stars but since that’s not an option… 5 is next closest!Would recommend!

Let’s start by saying the app setting are enormous for the light settings. I also love you can customize the lights, colors, patters and everythingI just put these up outside under my eaves, I know they are not waterproof but it is impossible for them to get wet, so I cannot attest to longevity.The reason for my 3 stars is the way these lights are wired. I have other LED RGBIC strings and you can attach them end to end. These are hardwired together so you have no choice but to have one string go left the other go right.In my situation I wanted them to go end to end, with controlls on one end the strings end to end, but I was not able toI made it work but had to modify my original plan. If you could string them end to end it would have been 5 stars.

Las tiras son maravillosas, me dejaron encantado aunque solo llevo un mes de uso, actualizare la reseña después de unos meses de uso o hasta que tenga un problema que espero y ese no sea el casoSiento que le hace falta algúna protección más como silicón para el agua y ya se que eso depende del modelo pero para el precio que es creo que debería tenerlo y otro punto regular de las luces es su adesivo y que no viene con nada más para asegurarlo más que con toallas con alcohol para limpiar la superficie donde las vayas a colocar, pero esos detalles no quita que no sea un maravilloso producto por el precio y su longitud y los efectos que tiene y la personalización es lo mejor que hay de esta tira, asi que si lo recomiendoActualización: Después de de unos cuantos meses de uso(5 meses), me empezó a fallar un sector de 6 luces led, y ese fallo se trata de que no da el color azul y eso es bastante molesto

Long review brace yourself!So I got the 100ft (2 50ft) strip leds and mine was $45 at a deal so I would wait for like a Black Friday or a sale but it’s totally worth it when you get it! Who would have known that led strips would enhance a room. The adhesive tape is really good but it will peel the paint off so be careful with that I recommend using tacky putty to not damage the walls which is the circles that you see in the video. There is not a remote because it’s through an app which is quite convenient and just overall modern. There is a small remote (1st picture) but it doesn’t do anything the app does. The performance with the led listening to the music is actually really nice especially with the sensitivity up to 100, it’s really cool and I tried to show that in the video. A downfall that others might not enjoy is that white is not white it’s a mix with one of the colors (3rd picture) if you only want to use white I would not suggest a RGBIC or RGB just go with the natural white led because it will produce a bright better white. In the video you can’t really tell but the colors do not stay the same on the one strip but I think it makes it unique. I consider these “smart” led strips because each light can be controlled through the app compared to anything else (showed in the video). On the app it has generated options and themes for the lights and you can make your own. The price definitely is worth the price though I just got these strips today I haven’t seen any problems with them I’ll update my review if something happened though, thank god for warranty. Also if you decide to add on to the strips use the same brand it works just make sure to cut correctly and tape it together (2nd picture). Overall just really good and I recommend it to anyone who wants a little change to their room, don’t get anxious over the previous reviews just look at the dates and time it was posted if it’s been years I’m sure the product makers have solved the issues. I’ll definitely be buying from here again if that wasn’t obvious before ????!!!

Govee always has the best lights. Can’t go wrong with them. I bought aluminum diffuser tubes to make them pop a little more and they aren’t so bad on your eyes. Highly suggest doing that. The control from the app makes these the easiest light set up and you can connect them to Alexa or your Amazon Echo Dot which makes life so easy and pair’s immediately. Highly recommend these lights

I’ve got 3 of these in my house. I use them just to create background light.I have them in my kitchen, living room, and bedroom.They work great for watching TV or doing small tasks. If you’re going to make a meal you also want another light source.Instalation is easy tape on back works great mine have been up over 2 years with no problems.One thing to remember plan ahead how you’re going to put them up. Once you press the tape in place it is a done deal. If you try to remove it you’ll take the paint off the wall.I did get one bad one, Amazon was great had a replacement in 3 days.This in mind check the lights before installing. Yes it is a pain but better to find out before you install them if there is a problem.They have changed the power cord on the newer ones I hope they work as good as the old ones. I just bought another set to put under my cabinets above my countertop.

I’ve bought this set of lights 3 times now for different places I’ve moved and I just love them as a product. I use them to wake me up for the morning and I also use them as my main source of ambient light for all day general use in the rooms I’m in.

Todo muy bien, como eran 2 carretes de 15 metros cada uno, decidí cortarlas desde la base del control, y ponerles unaestencion de cable para colocarlas en otro lugar y no desperdiciar los 15 metros extra en la misma zona, pero al momento deconectar con la soldadura las luces rítmicas funcionan normalmente pero cuando hay silencio parpadean, no recuerdo si así eran desde antes de cortarlas o si ese fallo se debió a que las separe.Así que pues les recomiendo que no las corten y compren la medida que van a ocupar xD, lo único bueno fue que las compre en oferta en $1700

Get the app before u install
At first I let out the longest strip of expletives. I got them all hung up, and ready to go and began to download the app. While it was downloading and installing I plugged it on.. and I lost it. Alot of them were not lighting up st all or very weak and flashing random colors. But I thought “let’s see what happens when I try the app.”I connected the app to the strips and it immediately came to life. The app has so much customizations, an hour later I was still playing with them and laughing. A few seem like itay be problematic for someone with epilepsy but it’s amazing.1 problem. I washed the wall, made sure it was dry and there was about a 2 or 3 foot section I had to use some clear packing tape to keep that section on the wall. Out of 100 ft, a couple feet not sticking well isn’t a big deal. You can’t even see the tape when it’s on anyway.I’d give it a 4.9 stars but since that’s not an option… 5 is next closest!Would recommend!

Amazing selection of setting
Let’s start by saying the app setting are enormous for the light settings. I also love you can customize the lights, colors, patters and everythingI just put these up outside under my eaves, I know they are not waterproof but it is impossible for them to get wet, so I cannot attest to longevity.The reason for my 3 stars is the way these lights are wired. I have other LED RGBIC strings and you can attach them end to end. These are hardwired together so you have no choice but to have one string go left the other go right.In my situation I wanted them to go end to end, with controlls on one end the strings end to end, but I was not able toI made it work but had to modify my original plan. If you could string them end to end it would have been 5 stars.
