Nobita, my medium size dog used to being afraid of nail trimming. He hid his palm with an asking-for-forgiveness face when I tried to cut his nails. It was dangerous that an over-clip might happen and hurt him. I decide to ignore it, but too lengthy nails make dada noises when walking, and started influencing the way he stands. Once, he even fractured a nail streaming with blood after running with his friend. I took him to the vat emergency at midnight and cost a lot…For the test, I bought my first dog nail grinder at randomThe motor made a loud noise, even my hand could feel the vibration. It makes Nobita nervous and ran away several times. I caught him finally, but the power was not enough to damage his black hard paws. The grinding wheel even fell apart to some kind of metal component and a little piece of sandpaper. With this terrible experience, I tried to do some homework to make sure not to buy trash twice. I found that almost every dog nail grinder’s appearance looks the same cheap, except for a well-known native brand. It seems more professional and the indication shows low noise and applies to small/medium/large dogs. I thought that was what I need, but I chose to buy it at the department store in case I don’t satisfied with the product quality. I regrated it immediately when I saw it. It was so light and the glossy plastic appeared just like a cheap toy. Besides, I didn’t believe it applied to medium dogs cause the power was weak. Or maybe it works if takes more time.I changed my keywords to English for getting more choices, and Casfuy showed up.Many people have brought it and left high scores. The affordable price seemed worth trying. I registered an Amazon account quickly, became one of the brought in the past month’s amount, and waited for delivery. The product’s appearance was just the same as the picture, with good texture, and proper weight, seemed more like a tool but not a toy. It was fully charged so that I could use it immediately. I turned the power to speed 1 for trying, it was low noise indeed. After that, I hold Nobita to try again. He was nervous and I could tell from his face, but he could take it so he just turned his head to another side. Speed 1 works, his nail was quite shorter, and I turn to speed 3 so that I could finish it faster. Too lengthy nails might be the reason that the nail grinder became not as useful as the first nail I tried. It works again after I removed the wheel cover and use an eraser to clean the grinder wheel. I thought the next time would go well cause Nobita’s nails had been trimmed.Overall, this is an extremely effective tool for nail trimming. Just be careful not to inhale the nail powder.

This is the first time I have ever used a Dremel style trimmer, but trimming my German Shepherd’s nails with clippers was getting more difficult as my dog and I both matured. After seeing another dog with a painfully splintered toenail (from a clipping gone bad), I decided to purchase this Casfuy 6 speed nail trimmer. It arrived quickly and was already charged. I used the provided USB cord and topped off the batteries before using.Much to my surprise, the unit was very quiet. It didn’t bother either our cat or dog. It takes slightly longer to complete all the nails, but there was no uncomfortable pinching or sharp edges. Each nail is filed smooth and neat.Trimmed nails will not puncture furniture, scratch surfaces, or snag carpets. So MUCH nicer than nails trimmed with clippers. I am sure if my dog could talk, she would also say she was impressed and relieved not to be pinched or quicked!

I was sacred to try a new nail grinder because most of the reviews were for at home use. I am a dog groomer and wanted something that was comfortable to hold, worked on dogs of all sizes and that held a battery charge. after using this grinder for 2 months I can confidently say this product does just that. I’ve used this on tea cup pets, Dobermans, doodles, Connie Corsos, terriers, and Shepards without any troubles. The 6 speeds help when introducing the nail grinder to dogs who’ve never had their nails ground before. This product is also one of the quietest nail grinders I’ve ever used. It is comfortable to hold and easy to control. The battery last me about 4 and a half 8 hr work days and I groom about 5 dogs a day. I also really enjoyed this grinder bit over the sand paper bits in other products because it leaves a smoother finish imo. The guard also helps to avoid hair getting stuck in the machine

I am totally happy with this product, especially it’s lights, ability to remove the safety guard, it’s quietness, and the battery life (charge lasting a couple of months at least). I introduced it gradually to my Golden Retriever puppy and she happily lets me grind her nails (with intermittent treats). When I forget the weekly grinding, then I clip the nail and smooth over the edges with the grinder. But my older Golden Retriever is still does not want me to grind his nails. I wish I had learned about this grinder several years ago, as now it has been very difficult to get him to accept the grinder on his big nails. Lesson: introduce as early as possible in the dog’s life. A gradual phase- in helps, but the dog still may not like the process.

For the first time in 7 years, I can trim my dog’s nails without him screaming and requiring 2 adults to hold him in place. . . It wasn’t an overnight fix…but stick with the journey and you CAN eventually trim your fearful dog’s nails. I spent 1 full year desensitizing my dog’s paws to touch. (there is a great Facebook support page for dog nail maintenance that gave me a lot of tips) He wouldn’t even let us touch his paws as a new rescue!!! He hated the clippers..as soon as I would get the nail ready to clip, he’d pull back his paw and scream (best description of his vocal-ness!) then, my husband would re-secure his leg, and I would try again. With clippers, you have to get the nail in the right direction/placement or else…this went on for all 18 nails …He was just as bad for the vets, if not worse and that was $20 a trim. My sister, who is a vet, recommended a nail grinder..I did my research and decided on this particular model (I liked the light and the low vibration). The light is VERY helpful. My other dog has white nails and I can very clearly see her quick. She is phobic to sounds, but I spent 5 weeks desensitizing both dogs to the grinder, I would turn it on and sit next to them, then slowly get closer, I would rub their backs and bellies with the unit on but in my hand. The first time I used it on my sound-reactive dog, I sat on the laundry room floor with the washer on spin. She did great! She has big, long, thick nails so I do hold her nail as a I grind to help with the vibration (which isn’t bad, but relaxes her more.) Back to my big issue little guy. He actually lays in my lap while I grind his nails. Because I do not have to contort his paws to get the exact angle, he doesn’t give me half the battle!! If I didn’t see it with my own eyes, I am not sure I would believe that I can finally trim my dogs nails! He still shakes and quivers the entire time, but doesn’t yelp, scream or pull back! In just 3 weeks, I have their nails almost back to an appropriate length. My biggest advice…patience and desensitize prior to first use!

I have to small dogs that are terrible when it comes to getting their nails done. One of them refuses to have them trimmed with clippers so we have to shave them down. They have to be medicated for their own safety when we do their nails as well. I love how fast this one works. I have tried dozens of different ones the past and nothing has worked this well. It’s much louder than the others and it’s as thick as a Dremel but I have small hands so everything is more difficult for me to grab on. I only had to keep it on the 1st speed the entire time and it was doing it fast enough to keep them from getting away from me. My dogs have very big and thick nails for such a small breed. Worth every penny of what I spent because the original price was a little steep but I waited till prime day to buy it and saved some money.

I bought a previous nail grinder that smoothed out my dogs nails but never actually removed length. This nail grinder “Casfuy” works fast in grinding length off and directions are helpful, be sure to read and follow them as they are clear and accurate to the experience and use of the grinder. The only concern I’ve found is long hair which they warn about to be fair. Be sure to keep paws trimmed which you should anyways with long haired breeds and keep grinder away from any exposed hair as it can catch and wrap around the spinning head (I removed the guard so that’s on me) however it hasn’t caused physical harm when it’s caught my Aussie’s hair (my error not the grinder’s) and I’m impressed with the safety feature it has to shut off (big win for safety). I was able to roll the caught hair out, console my girl (my reaction scared her, again no pain and hair brushed out fine) and back to grinding no problem???????? The light is extremely helpful in seeing the Quick, another big safety win and it’s bright and also has a separate on/off button which is great if you’re wanting just the light at first without the grinder on. It really works well, it grinds through my pups horrendously long nails and fast enough I can actually get the job done (cutting their nails has been nearly impossible because of aggression towards clippers and my hands in those instances). So long as you follow directions and grind for a few seconds each time it doesn’t heat up the nail. This grinder’s multiple speed adjustments quickly get through, take it slow the first time so you’re aware of it’s speed and impact on the nails as it grinds quickly. The sound is actually low and so far tolerable to both of my scaredy dogs. They cower at all grooming tools/devices but this grinder they tolerate and giving them bites of chicken or beef helps to train them into cooperating. It’s easy to hold because it isn’t bulky, I have lupus so comfort of use is important and this device I’m able to hold and get through two dogs back to back. I prefer this grinder to clipping because you have better control of how much you’re taking off, it doesn’t frighten my two like the clippers do nor does it cause pain bc of the control I have to not hit the Quick and I’m able to smooth out sharp corners saving my carpets. Lastly the battery last a long time but is easy enough to charge. The diamond blade does a much better job than any sanding disk I’ve tried before. Overall I recommend, any issue like hair catching has been my error but with everything built into it like the safety features, great instructions and warnings, and the company’s concern for the customers satisfaction… no brainer this is it!

Everything was great. It was already charged. I did go ahead and plug it in just to make sure it was full, it was. I have one dog that loves his “spa days” and and the other that as soon as she hears the grinder come on, she’s like “nope. not today, satan” and she’s out. Mind you, they are both pitties, siblings. Gear is 115 pounds, and Toýka is 65 pounds. They are not easy to move around, especially the one that hates having her nails done (not pointing paws here, Toýka). So, let’s get down to the gritty-gritty. Let me spell it out for you, D-I-A-M-O-N-D-S are a dogs best friend. Another wards, a diamond grit head. All the grinders I have had are just sandpaper. You get them, you use them, you have to replace them constantly, or change the heads to a different head for finer grinding, so on, and so forth, ad nauseum. This is it. One tip. I know I’ll have to change it eventually, some day, but it will be a long while from now. It grinds so smoothly. Now, these two spoiled rotten, hyper-active, miniature mooses, have stalagmite sized hooves that seemingly grow overnight. There are two grinding sides on this unit. They reccomend the flat side for larger nails. The “fitted” side still fit their large nails. So at the end of this adventure, they were both asleep on their backs. Gear was literally snoring, and Toýka was kinda startled when I told her to wake up and she was done. So I was very impressed with this product and you should be too. Make sure to give them treats afterwards, they deserve it ????

I will start by saying that I’ve spent the last quarter of a century trying to figure out how to clip and maintain my dog’s nails without getting killed in the process. I have come away with many scratches ????I found this product and I did purchase the two lower end models of the same and sent them back to Amazon. The base model I was sent by mistake when I had ordered the one that had lights on it. I went through several different brands, without luck, of this type of accessory including the original Dremel product brand name ones. They were all substandard. The main problems were noise, excessive vibration, lack of or misguided light, inefficiency in sanding, and inability to handle well enough to keep dog’s hair from getting caught and entangled. This one however has solved all of my problems and my little dog actually seems to like it ????The potential to get their hair caught into any of these devices is always there so I don’t want to give the impression that this one is any better. It’s easier for me to direct and avoid such a thing from happening with this one however.I turn it on to speed three before approaching my dog’s nails and just gently bevel back and forth and it quickly and efficiently remove the excess nail leaving a smooth edge.Save yourself the time of going through all the other manufacturers because I’ve already done it. If you have a very small dog, like mine who is a Maltese, this is a very good choice and the absolute best for my particular dog.I wish they had a prettier color other than orange or blue or battle ax green ???? but it is what it is and I ended up with emergency orange ????.Out of all of the grinding tools that I have tried this one is absolutely the best! The only thing that I don’t like about it is that you have to turn it on before you get started and I would prefer that it have a push button that you could let go of or push as you’re going along.
