I was excited to start growing tomatoes after we’d grown the starter kit that came with the aero garden but unfortunately I was not ready for the speedy growth of tomatoe plants. The other plants we got took a while to sprout and these were already an inch high in less than 3 weeks. I tried to keep pruning them ever so often but it felt like everyday there were new branches starting to grow of the others. At the end of the day it was my fault for not properly caring for them and because I don’t really know much about plants just thought it was fun to grow the last ones but for somebody who has done the research on how to care for them and can prune everyday, these worked amazing. The planst that grew had thick and sturdy stems and were very healthy. I tried to repot some of them so I’ll see what happens afterward but my experience with everything in the aero garden has been great so far.

the flavor of these tomatoes is fantastic. I love tomatoes and haven’t been able to eat them for 10 years. Decided to try and grow my own inside the house and see if I can tolerate them as I suspect my intolerance is due to what is sprayed on the tomatoes, not the tomato itself. I am tolerating them really well and holy cow this one is producing lots (I give some to my neighbor now and then) as I read on the website that they should be hand pollinated (if grown inside) I turn my fan on so that it aims in there direction as well as mine and they are producing a lot.

I grew these in the aero garden and then transplanted in my outside vegetable garden and was really not sure if I would have success or not.Although the plants did not grow much larger, they produced tons yummy tomatoes. They did much better and produced more “fruit” then my “regular” garden tomatoes.

I started my pods on 6/11/23, today is 8/3/23. I have teeny tiny green tomatoes popping out everywhere! How exciting. I have cut back massive amounts of the plants just to allow light to reach the babies. I could actually stand to do it again! The leaves and stems are so hardy and I love the little “hairs” all over. tryin to detour small buggy critters.I’ve grown quite a few different pods. Until now the cascading petunias were my favorite (gorgeous) but this is definitely more fun to get up and check in the morning. Lol

I grew these tomatoes in my AreoGarden to test run before gifting a set to our grandson who loves fresh sweet tomatoes year-round, he got one.

Have yet to find a pod of actual golden tomatoes. The cherry tomatoes are delicious. We have a plant that’s been going for over 100 days and gotten countless tomatoes so far.

Remember what tomatoes used to taste like? My AeroGarden cherry tomatoes are like that: tasty, aromatic, succulent. The plants germinated quickly with several shoots emerging from each pod. I had to trim each pod so only one stronger plant would grow per pod. It’s a delight to watch the plants grow and thrive, budding, and – finally – producing fruit. I’ve previously grown herbs which were also fresh and delicious.

Box didn’t match the description, and actual contents didn’t match the box.
The description says I should have received 2 Golden Harvest Cherry Tomato seed pods and 4 spacers. Instead, I was sent a box with 6 seed pods and no spacers. Not a huge deal, especially since I don’t mind getting extra seed pods, but it did mean I had to wait longer to plant while I waited for the spacers that I ordered separately to arrive. (I tried growing 2 plants without spacers earlier this year and ended up with so much algae!)Finally ready to plant the tomatoes today, and it’s a good thing I checked the pods because two of them aren’t tomatoes at all – they’re cascading petunias!! So I guess I’ll be growing some flowers at some point, or giving those pods away. Also, the box I received was several months past the sell-by date, but I’m giving a tentative 4 stars for now because I’ve had good success with AeroGarden pods in the past so I’m hoping these will germinate anyway.

Pricey, But Grows Well
Planted one of the pods and so far it’s growing pretty well! Only thing the kit is fairly pricey when ordering in Canada, though good if you’re fairly new to hydroponics.
